The RI IXpress is will enter its fourth season being named the RI Tier 1 girls' program. This year we will work in coordination with the
RIAHA to further develop girls' hockey in RI by bringing together
girls from across the state to play on the Tier1 teams. The 23 week program will compete in the NEGHL and represent RI in playoffs at the end of the season. We will roster a U10 Tournament team,
full season teams for U12 and U14 and a split season team for U16. Teams will play games in the NEGHL (www.assabetgirls.com
) and additional games with other teams in New England, NY and NJ.
Our home games will be played at Brown. Teams will have practices and weekly skills sessions at the Bubble in Cranston and at Brown
University. The on ice skills sessions will be run by DMHS staff and include guest coaches from a variety of colleges. Practices will
include skills and development with a variety of coaches, including Steve Cedorchuk and Digit Murphy, as well as the Brown University players.

On Ice Skills Sessions – 2009 Season
New this year!!!Open to all RI girls hockey players
... skills sessions with RI Tier 1 teams. These sessions will deliver technical development of hockey skills including skating speed and endurance, edgework, puck handling, and stick handling. Each session will be coached by a variety of college coaches, college players and staff from the RI Tier 1 progam. Sessions are $20 each and are on Thursday nights at the Cranston Bubble -- U10 and U12 7:00-7:50pm, U14 and U16 8:00-8:50pm.
Sign up for individual skills sessions on any date that works for you during the season. Each week 10 slots will be available for individual

are invited to attend weekly skills sessions with RI Tier 1 program. Get on the ice and learn what the Tier 1 skills sessions are about while developing your skills with various college coaches and college players and Tier 1 staff.
