The RI IXpress is will enter its fourth season being named the RI Tier 1 girls' program. This year we will work in coordination with the
RIAHA to further develop girls' hockey in RI by bringing together girls from across
the state to play on the Tier1 teams. The 23 week program will compete in the NEGHL and represent RI in playoffs at the end of the season. We will roster a U10 Tournament team, full season teams for U12 and U14
and a split season team for U16. Teams will play games in the NEGHL (www.assabetgirls.com) and additional games with other teams in New England, NY and NJ.
Our home games will be played at Brown. Teams will have practices and weekly skills sessions at the Bubble in Cranston and at Brown
University. The on ice skills sessions will be run by DMHS staff and include guest coaches from a variety of colleges. Practices will
include skills and development with a variety of coaches, including Steve Cedorchuk and Digit Murphy, as well as the Brown University players.
