Once again we collected gifts for Mrs. Honeyman's second grade class at Vartan Gregorian Elementary School. We had a great group of Santa's elves on hand to collect and wrap the gifts. They'll be delivered to class this week just in time for Christmas!

Coach Murphy Honored by Big Sisters of Rhode Island
"I have a strong sense of responsibility not only to represent my profession passionately, but also as a strong female leader for the
young women I work with every day," said Murphy. "Whether it's my college student-athletes, the young girls that are part of our RI
IXpress hockey program, young women in the community, or my own children, the message is simple -- as a women you can be anything you want and with integrity, perseverance and humility you will succeed."
November 1, 2007 In November 2007, as part of our new Bag for Bag program, the U12 and U14 players for the RI IXpress girls hockey program collected 400lbs of food on behalf of the RI Community Food Bank's Kids' Café program. Each of the players was to receive a new hockey bag for this season, and in the spirit of giving and getting, we looked for an opportunity for them to give something to the community. "In this program, we help the players learn that in hockey, as in life, you get what you give," said Aronda Kirby and Coach Digit Murphy, co-founders of the RI IXpress. "The girls went above and beyond donating this much food and really showed what a good community service spirit a team can have!" Glove tip directed Brown's Stock into starting spot
