POLAR BEAR TOURNAMENT Great job by all the teams in the Polar Bear Tournament! We saw a variety of skills and competition among our peer teams and, in all, we played strong! This tournament gives us a good opportunity to see the great hockey out there and where we stack up versus other programs around the country. We come back and know how far we've come and where we need to continuing growing. Congratulations! RI IXpress Tier 1 Selects at Polar Bear Tournament Wrap Up: U10 takes second, winning all three regular play games. They ended with a tough loss of 1-0 in Championship Game vs. NE Falcons of Connecticut. U12, with a win, 2 ties and 1 loss, the IXpress Selects places in the middle of Division 1 in U12. U14 makes it to semi-finals by winning all 4 of the regular play games! This placed them as the 2nd team in U14 Division 2. The semi-final game was lost to the U14 Division NJ Rockets team. U16 wins 2, loses 2 regular play games ... in a very competitive bracket. RI TIER 1 – ON ICE SKILLS SESSIONS OPEN TO ALL New this year!! Digit Murphy Hockey School exists to promote and develop girls and women's hockey. Directed by Brown University Head Coach Digit Murphy, Digit Murphy Hockey School offers a variety of programs, camps and clinics throughout the year to help develop girls of all ages and skill levels.

Coach Murphy has had 19 stellar seasons at the helm of the Brown University Women's Ice Hockey Program, winning over 300 games over that span. Murphy's successful tenure at Brown is the direct result of her deep-rooted knowledge of the game, coupled with a distinct passion for the sport. She is regarded as one of the top coaches in the sport, and her record speaks for itself.
